Take a Stand !

We have rights!

As you all know I have been slowly but surely researching about what the ingredients are in the products my family consumes, what are the good ones and what are the bad ones, and of course what are the alternatives. I will be the first to admit until about a year ago, I was just clueless and didn’t give it much thought. It wasn’t that I didn’t care. I just never really thought about the side effects it could have on my family and myself.  I am still surprised at the things I am discovering and the fact that it is perfectly legal for companies to hide such facts from their consumers. Don’t we have a right to know?
While on this search, I have had the opportunity to try a few different better alternative brands, Seventh Generation being one of them. According to an email I received from them “cleaning products can contain chemicals of concern - chemicals that have been linked to serious health effects including allergies, asthma, cancer, and reproductive harm”. Saddening, right?

As a member if the Generation Good ( see Freebies Sites & their Brief breakdowns), we get to sample goodies from time to time to review and once again I was able to get a hold of some of their awesome washing liquid.
I received this free in exchange for my honest review
When I used these the first time, I was a brand hop-er and was sure that this would not get my clothes as clean as some of the top names out there. But they proved my theory WRONG. I could tell no difference, my clothes where clean, stains removed, and still soft.  You can imagine my amazement when I learned this had with no artificial brighteners, dyes or fake scents. What ! What!
Then only thing that bothers me is this is not carried locally, but then again in these little southern town we are always last to get the new goodies. I had to go to the next state to get this. Is it worth the drive? Kids, sports, and even your pets are no match for this detergent. So I would definitely say YESSS it is worth the drive! Prices on this vary from location. Target has a 100 oz bottle for $12.99
Will you make the switch?
